It couldn’t be simpler to get started enjoying them but have a quick read of this before the adventures begins.
Step 1: Check the shoes are the right fit for your child before they start colouring them in. Once they start, you can’t return the shoes.
Step 2: We will provide some colouring sheets so your child can practice before starting on their shoes. Just make sure they don’t use up all their ink!
Step 3: Colour-in the shoes! Just try and stay in the lines and only use Jex pens – they’re specially formulated for the shoe fabric. Make sure you protect the area where you and your child are getting creative – you don’t want the pens marking your table or carpet!
Step 4: The shoes should be touch-dry within 20 – 30 minutes but leave them for a minimum of 12 hours. Keep them away from clothing and upholstery for this time or until completely dry to avoid the ink marking.
Every pair of Jex shoes is packaged in a distinctive box with a colourful selection of 7 striking Jex fabric pens. You also receive a fa Jex keyring and 12 page colouring-in booklet so you can try out your colours before committing to fabric. For a little extra, why not add a pack of 4 Jex neon fabric pens or some amazing coloured or glittery laces too.
